Connie Noah, an award-winning pastel artist and a native of Oregon, has been painting for more than 30 years. Primarily a self-taught artist, she has improved her own style through independent study and workshops with several renowned pastelists.
A Master Pastelist and Signature member of the Pastel Society of Oregon, she has served on its Board of Directors since its founding in 1987. pastelsocietyoforegon.com
She is also affiliated with Umpqua Valley Arts Center, a member of the Northwest Pastel Society, IAPS Master Circle Award Member, and has an owner interest in Gallery Northwest in Oregon.
Her paintings have won numerous local and national awards. In addition to being exhibited in galleries in the United States, her art has been shown internationally as well. Her work is also part of numerous private and corporate collections.
Painting has always been her passion. Connie paints in the mediums of pastel and oil in the studio or plein air.
Connie is drawn to painting the landscapes in and around the valleys of the Umpqua in Oregon where she has lived her whole life. Capturing a special moment or feeling with a beautiful landscape is her motivation that she hopes others will also enjoy.
